Bear Necessities Volume 32

It is with great excitement that I share the continued growth of our Athletic Department. As our community grows, it brings exciting new opportunities, and providing our student-athletes with the chance to compete in different sports is always a priority. Next winter, I am proud to launch our inaugural Girls Wrestling Program! Our student-athletes will compete alongside our Tri-School partners, Serra Padres and Notre Dame Belmont, in the West Catholic Athletic League.

In preparation for the season, we will be hosting an interest meeting this Wednesday at lunch. We encourage any girls who are excited, curious, or interested in the sport of wrestling to attend. This is an incredible opportunity to be part of something new, build strength and confidence, and represent Mercy in a powerful way. No experience necessary, just bring your commitment and courage.
