Basketball Season Recap

Our Varsity Basketball Team built great momentum early in the year, playing with confidence and energy throughout the preseason. As league play began, the level of competition intensified, and the group was tested night in and night out. Add in a string of untimely injuries, and the season required resilience from every athlete on the roster. Despite those challenges, the team persevered, stayed committed to one another, and ultimately qualified for the Central Coast Section (CCS) playoffs an accomplishment that speaks to their grit and determination.

Two moments in particular defined the heart of this team. Senior Night was an emotional and electric evening, as our seniors truly shined in front of family, friends, and teammates. Their leadership and passion were on full display, reminding everyone of the impact they have had on the program. The second highlight came in the CCS playoff game, where the team competed with intensity and pride, representing Mercy with resilience and unity.
